"The rooms and hotel is clean and updated. Note our bath room was small and no mini-fridge. The staff was friendly and polite. This hotel is a good choice if you just arrived by airplane, direct train connection from Schiphol-Airport. Take the train from the airport (easy) to central Amsterdam station, then 5 minute walk to hotel. Get started exploring Amsterdam Central by foot and canals. Breakfast is standard okay. The bar is okay for a nightcap, not so much of a hangout, however very safe and easy to get to rooms. I would stay again. Note, we were not traveling with you children. I am sure they would be fine, I did not use pools or other activities. Book Anne Frank House 6/8 weeks early for free tickets, also go to the Van Gogh Museum to complete your stay. My spouse and I explored all of Amsterdam Central from here then took Eurostar to Belgium. Note, but your Eurostar tickets early, some departure times may sell out so plan in advance. Save money on Eurostar with more notice, however last minute tickets are not bad. Safe Travels, Cheer!!"
"I can honestly say that I last night had the worst experience with any hotel staff across the hundreds of hotels I’ve stayed at. I simple request early in the evening for a few more pillows to our room completely blew up after the staff ignored us until around midnight.
After three attempts I went to the “reception” and Hamid was gaslighting and lying to me saying that it was against hotel policy to issue more then one (1) pillow per guest. And there were no more pillows in the hotel. And what would I or my wife even need more pillows for.
I became justifiably irritated and called him out on his obvious untruths, which he then denied effectively claiming that I lied.
It was so undignified and unnecessary. Any other hotel would have just have given us the pillows so we could sleep comfortably.
The unhelpful reception staff and Hamid in particular have fully deserved this review.
And after the exchange we got our pillows delivered to our room within 15’ showing that he was lying about everything to begin with."
"
I was initially a bit unsure about booking this hotel since it’s a metro ride from Amsterdam Centraal, but it turned out to be a great choice. Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and high‑tech throughout.
The metro station is only a five‑minute walk away, and the surrounding area feels safe and well‑lit, even at night. Staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful during our stay.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay here again."
"This hotel has a great location within walking distance to much of what I wanted to see. Most importantly, I could walk to the central train station to catch trains to other countries. The hotel is clean and well maintained, and the staff is very courteous and helpful. I wouldn't call the breakfast fabulous, but it is certainly well done and met my needs nicely. I was upgraded from a single to a double, and, unfortunately, even the double is pretty small. Two tiny beds in a very small room. The bathroom is functional, but that's the best I can say about it. One of the nicest things was that I could open the windows. I was there in April, and the heat was on, so the fresh air helped a lot. Rooms were cleaned daily without even asking. Very quiet. Only one elevator, which did not turn out to be a problem for me. I'm glad I made this choice, rather than the other options I had in mind, primarily because of the location."
"Amazing, helpful and friendly staff, unfortunately let down by the hotel itself.
Bathrooms need updating, the sealant and shower floors were all yellow, while the cleaners have done their best, it needs a whole freshen up.
Just didn't feel clean after using the bathrooms.
Rooms were comfortable enough, but again could do with a freshen.
Location is just outside the tourist areas, easy to park too.
The restaurant menu could be a bit bigger too if I was being super critical, but the food itself was cooked well."
"Cool modern. Small room but very nice. Excellent evening bar with food. Huge breakfast bar with excellent food. Can walk safely to Schipol checkin. Very close."
