Holiday Home in Limburg With Outdoor Fireplace

"Was very jet lagged which is probably why I didn’t think the checkin process was smooth,as it was all digital. Luckily, we got there before reception closed and they could walk me through app. In Cabin 41 there were bed linens, some cleaning supplies, clothes dry rack, working AC. had to pay extra for a hand towel and a bath towel which I don’t believe was explained in the listing. Living/diningroom was a nice size. There was a picnic table and chairs outside. The bedrooms were tiny and not air conditioned. The whole place came with blackout curtains. 2 of the burners on the gas stove we couldn’t get to work but the others were enough. There is a fridge, sink, dishwasher and some dishes and cookware. It is a glamping resort which was very clean, quiet, large pool, had 1 washer/dryer for whole resort. I particularly liked the location outside the city yet could be downtown in 20 minutes on a bus that picked us up right at the resort or by car which could be parked at cabin. I also liked all the wandering trails through the countryside. Reception hours are limited to 9-5. Taxis, Uber have to be contracted ahead of time because of the rural nature of the location. The bus only has 8 seats. If they are full, one has to wait an hour. Like others we wished there was a full length mirror in the cabin. Wish there was a tuck shop for more essentials as no real shops nearby. Really for people with cars who bring what they need."

"The location is good for those wishing to be close to the central station. Sleeping area is excellent, you get plenty of room and privacy in the pod. Air conditioning is not always a given, especially at this price point. The breakfast is sparse, especially for a place with a restaurant attached. Next time I would skip their breakfast and eat at a place around the corner."

"The Andrè Rieu package was very well done. The hotel was very accommodating in allowing us to stay in the same room, although we had booked 2 nights separately from the concert package. And they gave us an upgrade at no extra cost for one of the nights when there were no similar rooms to our package room. They made everything easy and the food overall was great as well."

"Having read the two awful reviews that Accor place prominently on the web site we were naturally concerned, although we are loyal Novotel clients. However our concerns were completely unnecessary. The parking was easy out front, the reception staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed the pool and bar area and had a big screen TV all to ourselves to watch England play Norway. So all in all the hotel exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed our stay. One negative comment - we were told the very high room prices were because Andre Rieu was performing but the hotel was sparsely occupied so the logic of market demand was incorrect. However, looking at hotel prices in general in Maastricht for that period our rates were reasonable. Highly recommended for a wonderful Maastricht experience."
