"The room was spotless- great hotel"

"Hotel was closed for months. We were never notified. Called to find out increasing the number guest. Phone was answered by housekeeping who said the hotel wouldn’t be open until March. I guess Expedia was never notified by best western."

"The best hotel in the area. First time ever having an issue when it came to my room . I booked a king room on Expedia but the hotels system said I booked to double beds which I didn’t . Still waiting on Expedia to contact me with a solution "

"We stayed 2 nights. All the staff were nice. It is an older property that seems to be in the process of updating the facilities. But it was clean. Breakfast area was clean and food was fresh. Overall not bad for a quick meal. The only issue we had was the spare roll of toilet paper had roach eggs and baby roaches in it. But that could be from the manufacturer or distributor. Didn't see any evidence of bugs anywhere else in building. I did inform front desk of problem, and they let housekeeping...

"The shower sliding door would not stay in place and had to held in place with one hand. It was difficult trying to shower one handed. Thought the entire facility was in need of an update."

"Immediately walking in it was clear that they only changed the sheets and did nothing else. The lamp was visibly broken, the carpet was covered in crumbs and had earrings etc left on it, there was mystery residue on the wall behind the bed, burnt food residue left on top of the stove, small red stains on the bed sheets, and smears on the bathroom door including a dried up brown blob. We left the room immediately and spoke to the person at the front desk, who seemed very understanding and...

"I had a handicapped room as I use a wheelchair. Room was roomy and allowed easy access in and out the doorway. The bathroom access was easy but the low height toilet was a challenge; whoever designed the bathroom obviously never had to utilize a wheelchair or walker. Also a walk-in shower would be most helpful."

"The room smelled of mildew and mold with a bleach coverup. We got a refund on the room."

"I stay here about twice a year for various reasons. Overall, the room was pretty clean, the staff was friendly and breakfast was good. The trash can in the bedrom area didn’t have a trash bag, so the desk attendant gave me a laundry bag. The grout in the shower needed tending to. Additionally, they ran out of wings at the bar, so I had to leave the hotel to get food. I would still recommend staying here; no place is perfect. They also give you a warm cookie at check in, which I love."
