"I liked the hotel, but I stayed for 3 nights and 4 of 6 elevators were not working for 2 days and 6 of 6 not working for 1 day. I was on the 23rd floor so stairs were not a good option while I was traveling for work and in a suit and heels. We were required to use the service elevators which stopped on every floor and full after a couple of stops. The workers who needed the service elevators were more annoyed than the guests. I asked for some type of discount since I was paying $370 per night and was offered 10,000 Hilton points worth about $50. Who cares about that, it simply makes me not want to stay at a Hilton again."
"There is construction next to the hotel that starts at 6:30 am which when you arrive from Los Angeles means is 3:30 am. Had to sleep both morning on the cold marble floor in the bathroom and the hotel made no gestures after many complaints. The worst experience. Not good to stay at all and definitely for that money ! "
"Convenient location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. I wish that there were softer/warmer light options and the usb ports by the bed weren’t working - minor inconveniences. This is my second time staying here and I will continue booking it when I’m in town. "
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Austin Capitol / Downtown
2/10 Terrible
"Checked in and given a room where someone already occupied. Given 2nd room where do not disturb sign on. Told no more rooms and would refund money. Then front desk found a room unoccupied. When entering the room…smelled moldy. Terrible stains on the floor, and bathroom was moldy. In the bathroom, flirting was soaking wet and covered with many wet dirty towels so could not even enter or use bathroom. Had reservations direct through Wyndham for multiple days, and canceled, and left after the one night. Worst hotel ever. Should be condemned and demolished. I would like a full refund. Thank you. "
"I paid for a casita suite which I thought would’ve been better than a regular room. It was average not very clean. The water in the shower took forever to warm up. Our sink broke and the water would not stop running. We had to get then to just turn the water off to that sink. Luckily there was another. "
