"Starting with the positive, this hotel is in a great location right on the beach. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The hotel is so dated and smells bad. We had to change rooms because the smell of mildew was overwhelming. They have done a cosmetic renovation which looks nice on the surface, however the bones of the hotel are dilapidated. Chipped paint in the rooms, old furniture, bad smells. Crumbs on the floor from previous guest and I didn’t dare walk on the carpet without shoes....

"The hotel was beautiful and we were looking forward to our stay, unfortunately we found a cockroach in our bathtub. The manager was great and changed our room. Unfortunately our stay was not what we hoped for."

"Staff were very prompt and courteous. 2 rooms we saw had an overwhelming smell of mildew. The first had what appeared to be mold on the ceiling, and it was just terrible. The second had a construction dumpster outside of the door with a car of tweakers doing tweaker things in it. It also had a 4" holesaw cut out in the drywall on the wall to the connecting room? Not sure what was going on there. Luckily, it wasn't completely through yet; maybe that was an upgrade you could ask for later."
