We loved our four night stay at Bluewater resort. We were pleasantly surprised by the openness of our one bedroom condo. The bike trails are great, especially Sea Pines forest preserve was beautiful.

The space, as soon as you open the door, that's what hits you first. Then, the cleanliness. Soft beds, huge again clean bathrooms, gated, quiet, close but not to close to needs, fishing, boat dock, activities, bike rentals, basketball rim(one), small putt putt, seating all around property, picnic tables, etc. You will not be disappointed. Looking for a negative, hmm, oh yeah, the crew works so much keeping the property up they woke me up one morning 10am 3hrs after i planned, sooo, lol.

Recent stay!!

Well this was our third time staying here since it was first opened. Resort is nice ,friendly and right of the water. It’s about 15 minutes away from main beaches & restaurants. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 was I which they would deep clean the carpet and couches We had to use some sheets to cover the couches and spray fabrees because you can tell they haven’t been cleaned for awhile, also the room had a humidity smell had to use fabrees every day.

No Golf Credit

The resort is family friendly. It is a timeshare property, so be prepared to be asked to attend a presentation. In the description on the hotels.com website, we were told there would be a golf credit which we had planned for. When we arrived we were told that was no longer available , which was very disappointing. I took a screenshot of the description and shared with resort staff but it was not honored.

Everything looks new and is nicely designed. The hotel is not in a fancy area, so a car is needed to go almost anywhere. I had planned to do a lot of biking, but I don't think there were nice places to ride on this side of the island.

Great visit

Beautiful place with everything you need to keep 3 grown sons busy! Only negative comment is at check in, Address should be on the reservation forms along with a bold print regarding late check in. We had to call to get the address and once there were sent to another location to get keys. Not a big deal unless you just drove 11 hours to get there, That was VERY frustrating. Stay was wonderful and the unit has everythung you couild need.

Beautiful two bedroom unit, pool area was wonderful and fitness area had nice equipment. The grounds were fantastic. Would have been nice to have a smart tv in the living area so you can use your own Netflix account
