Then a shower running hot then cold so hair washing was traumatic. The room service food was a lower standard than last time as it was too dry, and I was provided with a poorer standard of breakfast than last time I stayed. "The room was okay if you just want a basic room, but other than that, this hotel should be avoided. Expedia listed the property as having "free parking," which is not true. It costs £6 for half a day (or possibly longer; I cannot say for sure since we only stayed for half a day). Furthermore, the breakfast was disgusting. I am not a fussy eater, but this was beyond anything edible. While the staff did their best to keep up with the constant wave of hungry customers, it was simply impossible for...

"The room is very small. One thing I never like is that one side of the double bed is against the wall so getting up in the middle of the night is really difficult for the person sleeping on that side. Also the bathroom is in the bedroom and is separated by frosted glass. So you can hear everything going on in there(!) The location was fantastic. Couldn't be better. Breakfast was good."

"I've stayed at the hotel multiple times and never had a problem until Wednesday 15th July. The building is obviously old so limited to what they can do, but second floors rooms in peak summer are like pizza ovens. The small ancient fan is not enough and I barely slept."
