"The room looked as if the floor hadn’t been swept in a while. The door was missing the deadbolt there was just a hole where the lock goes and a chain lock on the door. The chair was falling apart. The bedspread had a large stain on it. No phone in the room to call the front desk you had to walk down a steep hill to get to the office in the dark if you needed anything. We believe the night attendant stayed in the room above us and they were up all night moving furniture walking back and forth...

"Great place."

"Country Inn is in a lovely area. The mountain views from the main lobby are very beautiful. The help is very friendly; they helped with driving and mapping concerns. This made my stay much safer when navigating driving around this area. The housekeeping is excellent and the place is very clean. All this at very reasonable prices."

"Should come with breakfast for the price of the rooms in my opinion. Clean an well maintained resort."

"The host is AMAZING. She is the kindest!! She makes the most delicious breakfasts I maybe ever had. Her decorations are impeccable and the vibes there are great. There are so many cats there!!! If you love animals you will love it there. My boyfriend and I stayed there for two nights and three days and honestly I want to go back. We went during the summer so it was HOT (we knew that before we got there). She told us the best time to go is in the fall with all the pumpkins and fall vibes and I...

"Very spacious and tidy. Lots of room for parking. The location of this hotel is right around the corner from the central Main Street full of fun shops. The hotel is all off to the side so it feels private and within walking distance from the shops. Owner was friendly and offers 24HR check in service. Affordable $20 per fee. Wonderful place to stay for a budget friendly basic nights rest if you are traveling up north. The area is safe too! Will definitely be staying here again when I am...

"The staff was very friendly, and check-in was quick. The room was clean, though it smelled strongly of cigarettes; it was clear that the previous guest had ignored the "no smoking" sign on the room door—that, however, is not the hotel's fault. The price was affordable compared to other hotels in the area, and you get what you pay for: a clean place to sleep, without any frills."

"It had the ambiance of history in a very historical location."

"Lovely setting. It’s not like a hotel though. No staff in the office even during posted hours, though they did answer our call and left us a note with our room assignment. Not sure if it’s always so deserted or we were just there off-season. I did not read the FAQs so I missed that we needed to bring our own toiletries."

"The lobby office was never open during my stay. The tv remote did not work."

"Very cozy, clean and comfortable motel in Murphy. The front desk receptionist was very kind and helpful when we arrived late after a day of hiking, and the rooms felt great to relax in."

"An older hotel that has been restored that was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. The patio outside was really pretty. It was very close to Yosemite."
