"As a single woman traveling alone, I was put into a room at the top of the hill and behind everything else I was not able to see my vehicle from my room and walking in there in the late evening felt extremely uncomfortable. The room itself was clean enough, however it definitely needs some improvement. The staff in the morning was very abrupt. Breakfast was available."

Great items for either sit down or a person on the go. Nothing over the top, very simple for a nights stay. Easy access off and on the highway. "We had a very nice stay. Love the pool table, water station, grounds that are dog friendly, bedding, shower. Breakfast had 2 pancake stations. Ok selection. Coffee anytime. Nice 1/2 drive to Floyd. Will stay again. Tru is always dog friendly without an extra charge. "

The front desk staff member was friendly and provided good service; however, my overall stay was very disappointing for the following reasons: After taking a shower and getting ready for bed, I opened the blanket and found bugs, hair, and a significant amount of sand in the bed. There was a black cat outside making loud noises for an extended period. The air conditioner was very noisy. The room had poor sound insulation...

"We booked it because of the restaurant on the property. It has been shut down. They should have taken it off their amenities listed. I would have preferred an outdoor room due to mobility issues. They said they were full. I saw many that were not being used. "
