Very nice room!
We stayed only one night but we really enjoyed it. The room is clean & nice. The staff was good & helpful. However, the breakfast was so so.

Sehr gute Lage. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig in 15 bis 30 min zu erreichen. Zentral aber in einer ruhigeren Seitenstraße gelegen.

Great hotel for buissness and vacation alike.
room is a bit small as mentioned but well arranged. Shower is great. Good service from the desk staff with helping to reccomand places, providing a city map helping book a taxi and etc...

Lovely staff, good location
Nice and quiet but still within walking distance to all the night life. Staff are all lovely - we liked the hotel so much we extended our stay twice. Only one complaint - the WiFi is slow and unreliable.

２４時間空港送迎の記載があるが、実際はなかった。
ホテルの紹介欄に「２４時間空港送迎」記載されていたので、それを見て予約しましたが、出発前にメールで予約すると「一杯で席がない。」との事でタクシーを使いました。帰路の送迎についてはフロントでお願いしたが「送迎はないのでタクシーで行ってください。」と言われてタクシーで空港へ行きました。スタッフの対応などは良かったのです。

Great Boutique Hotel
My stay at the Empress Hotel was really good. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. They were informative of where to find places and made my stay very relaxing. My bedroom and ensuite were lovely and had everything I could possibly need. The breakfast room was bright and welcoming and the meal was perfect. On my last day there was a huge downpour and I got extremely wet on my way back for my luggage, Although I had checked out at noon, the staff let me use a small cloakroom to change out of my very wet clothes before leaving for the airport and my flight home to New Zealand. I can thoroughly recommend the Empress Hotel and will certainly be staying there again when I return to Vietnam in the New Year.

Never stay at this hotel again
This place is way overpriced for their services and room type. U can get much better place for your money. The staff seems never happy. Why would u be this industry when u can never smile in front of your guest. We r paying them money not like asking for a free stay. And they absolutely not helpful. The breakfast choices are limited. And if u ever give them any negatives comments, they will not happy. I was giving my honest opinion about my check in experience and I got questions by the front desk the next morning as I was walking out. Not with the possitive attitude, more like questioning why I gave them a bad review. Absolute horrible. I will not recommend this place for my family and friends . I should of read other ppl reviews before I booked, no wonder this place looks dead all the time.

Old bad hotel
Poor customer services, poor room services, lift not functioning properly. Got to pay 1 million vnd as deposit. I book a room for 2 persons but was told it was meant for 1 person; thus I had to pay extra 150,000 vnd for 2nd person per day; 3 days stay cost me extra 450,000 vnd....absurd ! Will not book this hotel again.

The hotel rips people off. When you bring a guest to stay with you, they insist on charging more money.

Gone down hill
Used to be a cheap and cheerful place close to town in District 1. Now it is neither. Dining is pitiful. Room comfortable. Always used to provide free breakfast, but not any more.

Under alle omstændigheder nægtede jeg at lade dem kopiere mit kort og kunne således ikke tjekke ind på hotellet.Jeg har ikke oplevet det på nogle andre hoteller jeg har boet på.

Les parties communes sont vieillotte mais la chambre pour le prix de 20€ est très correcte . Cependant, il ont fait une promotion sur la deluxe. Dans le cas ou ce ne serait pas ce type de chambre je ne pense pas que ça vaille le coup

Don't stat here. Not friendly, rude.
Check in was horrible. They couldn't "find" my expedia reservation. They asked for $300 USD per night as "deposit"! Staff was rude, breakfast is a joke... the hotel's elevator didn't work half the time... there were 3 people at this hotel as guests, i see why. I heard hotel is closing down. they don't use their own check in counter, but a small desk as counter and turns the lights off in hotel. kinda scary.

Did not feel good/happy since they tried to ripped off my credit card by charging/putting 2 pending transactions with the amounts of $98 & $94 something for my 5 nights (actually I missed my first flight, and I got delayed/came late, so I lost 1 night. Just stayed there for 4 nights but paid for 5 nights) while I did pay everything up front with hotels.com, so I said that they don't have the right to charge that to my credit card account, and at first they denied saying that they just verified card, but then I showed them the proof/messages from my credit card company to show that they have been charged to my credit card account, and they were like they just wanted to make sure their bill is paid when I checked out. So I showed them the proof that I did pay everything with hotels.com, and they need to get that from hotels.com NOT from my credit card again or else I will make a big deal with them since they have no policy/rule to back up their ridiculous/unreasonable argument/nonsense while I have all the valid info. to show them as the evidence. So they did void these two invalid/so called verifications/transactions then.....LOL

we came mid of d nite rceptionist inconsiderate.suite room hot.a/c did not work.i complained they changed the room same suite same ac didnt work well.food(breakfast) was ordinary. lots of hotel in hcmc district 1 which are much better when it comes to service , room n staff -friendly definitely we won't use this hotel agen.

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel
Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse. Bei der Buchung sollte man aufpassen, da es auch Zimmer ohne Fenster gibt. Ich habe da wohl etwas falsch gemacht. Frühstück sehr gut.

ホテルスタッフは夜中の到着でもとても親切で、観光名所などの質問にも丁寧に（英語で）教えてくれます。 ホーチミンの土地柄、やはり朝から騒音などは結構聞こえますので、朝早くから騒音で起こされる感じです。

Уютный чистый отель
Уютный чистый отель почти в самом центре. Приветливый персонал, вкусный завтрак (правда меню каждый день одно и то же), чистые номера, уборка регулярно.
