"This is a pleasant but dated hotel that offers secure parking by the shore. The rooms are clean and comfortable and staff is eager to serve. The hotel is approximately 1 mile from downtown Yachats. That said, the hotel offers limited services. Their coffee is not available until 7:30 am. There is no breakfast. Other than your room, there is no central area for guests to gather. The registration area doubles up as a gift shop with limited processed food. Would I return? I think so because I was there for outdoor activity and I would hope that the hotel would improve on the coffee maker in the room (it is small and when one pours it, it still spills) and they would add some paper plates."

"I arrived early and the staff were very accommodating to me. I was glad as I had driver in from California . The room was very clean and I was comfortable. I didn't have breakfast that morning as I had to get on the road."
