"New Location near to center"

"Great location. Very clean. Great value for the price. I highly recommend it."

"You can tell the building has aged but it’s actually very clean from inside out. Breakfast is great value - it’s better than many other more expensive hotels. We went for a business trip and so the location was perfect. No complaints."

"Leckeres Frühstück und sehr freundliches Personal. Tolle Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel (Nahverkehr im Preis inbegriffen)"

"Sehr saubere Unterkunft, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle auf dem Zimmer, nur wenige Meter entfernt Trambahnstation , Am Wasserturm Richtung Innenstadt"

"Camera accogliente e vicina al centro tutto comodo"

Whereas the room was okay clean, the trip to the room, w/o elevator, was a long trek along always dirty, worn pathways. It's difficult to conceive of how or why a hotel would leave its extensive carpeting un-vacuumed. As noted, we dealt with two quite nice staff, one of whom was also competent. Other staff, including the Manager, were incredibly rude, curt, and...

"Sehr hilfsbereites Personal! Das Zimmer schlicht aber sauber. Frühstück in Ordnung."

"This hotel gets very mixed reviews, which seem to me to reflect guests' differing expectations. The good points. The people who run it are incredibly nice and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are a bit tired and old, but nobody should be surprised by that. They are spotlessly clean, very quiet, and surprisingly cool during the heatwave in June 2026. The hotel is very convenient for the Goethe Theatre. The not so good points. You have to phone them to unlock the door and check...
