"We were incredibly disappointed from start to finish. After a long day of travel, we checked in and found out that the pool and hot tub were closed for repairs and would be closed for our entire stay. In fact, it had been closed for some time, and they never mentioned it on their website or when we booked the room. Then, we got to our room only to find that we had no hot water. We informed the front desk and they said, "We're aware. It's everyone, not just you." They offered no timeline for...

"Grounds are pretty, but the building itself is run down. Checked in and went to my room and found the room door wide open. The man at the front desk advised me that the AC could only be controlled by the wall panel. There was no wall panel anywhere in the room. There was mold in the corners of the tub (not a lot, but enough to notice). Area was sketchy."

"Love that there’s a bar / restaurant on property, but the facility just feels old and not well maintained. One elevator was out of service for the entire time, and the remaining one felt like it’s on its last legs, very slow. Room cleaning - one room had prior guests food leftovers still in the fridge, and the other had the toilet seat up & toilet paper roll messy, as if someone had used it since it’d been cleaned."

"I was truly satisfied with the hotel property and the staff. Upon check in the rep at the counter immediately knew my name which completely impressed me. There was a mix up with my online booking and they had already handled the concern which made my check in experience smooth. My daughter participates in travel basketball and I will always choose Homes 2 Suites as my first hotel stay option due to the excellent service I received."

"Hotel & area is beautiful. The hotel gives the historic feeling and vibe. The hotel cleanliness is not so great. House keeping could definitely do better with cleaning. Didn’t get a chance to try the food on the rooftop bar because they had no chef. Other than that the stay was pretty good"

"In-door pool was full size, legit. You could do laps if you were into that. Hot tub was ok. The outdoor patio off the pool was a very nice surprise. Elevators are small and slow. I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, but it looked fine. Easy on and off Interstate 83. Being on Route 30 lots of access to places to grab a quick meal/eat. I would stay again. Staff that we encountered were all friendly and helpful."
