"Ideal location-Parking was a bit of a problem when we arrived mid-afternoon but eventually found a spot near the village green. The room was comfortable -although I wouldn't exactly call it a 'seaview' more of a sea glimpse. The breakfast was fabulous, plenty to choose from and served up by Mark-the lovely, friendly host."

"The staff were very obliging and helpful, always smiling and approchable. Pleasant lovely to my two bichons always took time to fuss them. A large green to walk my dogs. The premises were clean and tidy. Parking was excellent 👌. Breakfast was lovely and tasty, and plenty of it, a good selection. First time I've used Purdy Lodge, but will certainly use it again. Very reasonably priced also. Also looked out onto green fields. The only thing I could find was the fact that there were no Subtitles...

"We have just stayed here for 4 nights and would highly recommend. The room was very clean and had everything we needed .Even though we were on the ground floor at the back we did not experience any noise from the bar or restaurant. In fact the only noise we heard was the cars on the gravel in the car park. The food was excellent there was so much choice for breakfast. The evening menu was amazing all locally sourced food. We tried several dishes and all of them were so tasty and the portions...

"Lovely location. Room nice apart from damp smelling dark bathroom. Food ok... starter was very average but mains were nice. Although couldn't be helped the ovens were broken so the choices we made from menu weren't available. Service from staff was poor, not much engagement, very transactional, most were not very friendly. Breakfast was serve your own coffee and tea from a machine.. but latte was barely luke warm so had to have something else. Breakfast very average. Wasn't asked how stay had...

"Absolutely lovely place! I’ve wanted to go here for a while for the pods with hot tubs and it did not disappoint! POD was very spacious, a super king bed was amazing! Very modern and comfortable. The hotel itself is really nice and in lovely grounds. We only had breakfast but it was also very good. We are looking forward to coming back!"
