"I had a garden view room which would have been good but the entrance to the room is right next to the freeway. The traffic noise was horrible. The worst night sleep I have ever had in any hotel and I’ve stayed in many. Other rooms that don’t literally have a freeway practically on top of it are probably ok. Breakfast had a lot of choices."

"Initial room smelled like someone had been cooking food in it so we were given a second room. Second room had obviously not been used in quite some time as there was dust on the nightstand. There was no body wash in the dispenser. There were four of us staying in the room yet there was only two sets of towels in the bathroom. "Very centrally located near airport and cruise terminal. Lots of eating places nearby. Big rooms, clean beyond expectations, no problem with leaving luggage in lobby for early check in or after late checkout. Easy walk to shopping. One caution, the attached Korean restaurant served up a mean fried whole chicken, undercooked, tough and stringy. Can't even bite into it or cut it with a knife. Instead, Go to Chinese noodle shop down the block, noodles to die for. Mahalo."

"Really outdated hotel. Room 3951 is just awful. Carpet is tearing, door trims are chipped, wallpaper is ripped and falling, bathroom tub is rusty. I did not feel clean. My partner and I were severely disappointed. The hotel needs a major renovation. I personally, will not be a repeat customer of Hyatt in Waikiki."

"The elevator situation is terrible. Long lines to get to your room. It seemed like only 3 worked. There was no escalator’s working so you had to wait for elevator or take stairs. Convenient place between mall and convention center and rooms were okay. We stayed in an Ocean View room but it really was “ocean partial view”."
