"The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

"Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too."

"It's a building with several apartments so ours did not exactly match the photos, but it did look similar enough. We were on the second floor and there was no lift - something to be aware of if you have trouble with stairs. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were lovely and soft. The sofa was a little small but comfortable enough. The apartment was clean, but some of the kitchen utensils were dirty, presumably from previous guests. The oven did not work for us. "Lovely cottage, I was unsure when booking as there wasn’t photos of all the rooms, however they were all great. The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District. Being so close to the tea rooms was convenient for lunch, and we were near enough to the town of Leek for shops for supplies. Comfortable beds, and the whole place was clean and tidy. "We had a very short overnight stay after the concert in Manchester's Co-op Live arena with my parents. The owners are really lovely people - very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It took around 10 minutes of driving by uber to get there from the stadium. Perfect place for a short stay "

"Lovely. We will definitely be back. The food was really special as was the wine and service. We paid for the deluxe king room and the bathroom was really lovely my only slight gripe was the room didn’t feel especially roomy or deluxe however the bathroom did make up for this as it was gorgeous. Not a complaint but I think I wouldn’t pay the extra for the deluxe room when I come back which I definitely will be doing. It’s worth it for the food and service alone as well as the beautiful scenery. "

There is no parking at this hotel - you're at the mercy of local car parks, and dropping off if you arrive by car is not easy either. The hotel is right on the ring road with no car access at all."

"I chose this facility, since I wanted quality. I stayed for 2 nights room 327. room was not vacuumed between 1st and 2nd night. Some surfaces in the bathroom just dirty. I asked to make a sofa. they agreed, but never did it. One of the phone charges did not work. Toilet door was hard to close. Breakfast- 10 am was no more croissants, cupcakes or bagels. We expected hash browns- was not available at all. Potatoes inedible. Nice selection of dairy free and gluten free, but meat for breakfast...
