"If you have a stopover in Voss at any point, Store Ringheim is the place to stay. Even though we only spent one night on our 10 day trip, this was by far our favorite accommodation. We got in at Voss Station and heard it was quite a hike to get up, so we reached out and they had someone pick us up and drop us back off in the shuttle with our luggage - so easy and convenient. "The hotel is very clean and the sauna is fantastic!! My only gripe is that there is no laundry. I spent most of my time in Voss doing activities but I was not able to wash any of my clothes."

"The hotel is great. We tried to stay in Flåm but everything was booked, so a 20 min bus ride to the drop off for this hotel was easy enough. It’s in a different fjord but it gorgeous and we had a skylight in the room that had a view of one of the waterfalls. The room was very clean. Other then disliking the shower curtain and the breakfast, this place was lovely. The breakfast could use maybe more options, but staff was very friendly. The seafood restaurant was amazing. We stayed two nights and orders so much good food from there."

"The location was a bit of a ways away from the main hub/lake in Voss, maybe twenty five minutes, but that was no problem because of the stunning views the property, which is up on a mountain, afforded. The Stalheimskleivi Road, a steep path and hiking trail along a mountainside with views of waterfalls and greenery, is right behind the hotel, and it's quite the tourist attraction. The hiking going down was awesome. Coming back up took a lot of energy. lol. There are pastures with sheep nearby. We had a double room and it was no frills: no tv, no coffee machine, no microwave, just basically a bed and bathroom. The hotel is quite old and could use some renovations. You're basically paying for the awesome views and the relative seclusion. Oh, and the breakfast offered a nice variety-- sausage, bacon, eggs, paté, pastries, different breads. Their bar served us until 11pm, We only stayed for one night, so the no frills room was fine."

"Our family stayed in the family suite for a summer trip to Voss on a stopover from the Norway in a Nutshell route. The family who owns the historic farm property is so helpful and nice. The property and room were beautiful. The highlight was the farm-to-table organic dinner and breakfast. Delicious! I would 100% recommend to anyone to stay here."

"Breakfast was excellent. Particularly enjoyed the ginger/applejuice drink and the perfectly cooked eggs in the morning. Coffee was good, much better than many places I have stayed. Team was amazing, providing for our needs. Parking was fine outside the property. Overall an excellent experience."
