"Property was going through repairs. Lobby person seemed a little too engaged with staff members discussing the next days work schedule while we waited to be checked in. When she finally got around to checked us in, she assigned our room on the 3rd floor and directed us to park in back. She neglected to tell us that the back elevator was out, forcing us to have to lug all our luggage up two flights of stairs. "The bathroom was not the best. Tub was pretty gross. Luckily it was a short stay and we only used it for a quick rinse. A towel had a big black stain on it. The pool area was freezing and pool itself was freezing. But clean it good atmosphere. Towels at the pool were loin cloths so bring your own. The tv was so basic (welcome to 1995). The bedspread had a red stain on it which was a bit gross. And they were horribly uncomfortable. But that’s a personal preference maybe. There are very few...

"Nice place to stay on the outskirts of Boston. Not far from Boston Children's and loads of parking. Large room with oversized bathroom. Incredibly comfortable beds."

We were already in Boston and were supposed to check in, but we had to take him to the emergency room. We have all the documents, but they didn’t take any of it into consideration, and they didn’t compensate us in any way."

"The property was under a bit of construction so it was not too clean and lobby got a bit cramped. The room is a bit on the small side for holiday inn express, shower hot/cold was swapped, shower water pressure too small. The AC auto is the same as lo fan setting causing it to blow cold air onto the bed the entire night. We had to cover it with a towel nightly to mitigate. Old towels removed, but no new towels provided if no room service. Just a bunch of small things making our stay not quite...

"A handy find. Only 5-6 stops on the T into the heart of Boston. Relaxed neighbourhood with range of shops, coffee bar over the road. On site valet parking at sensible cost. Cost about half the going rate in Downtown. Nice landscaped and beautifully maintained gardens belonging to the hotel at the rear."

"Love the location. The hallway carpets and floors are dirty and the bedroom couch and carpets as well. Please get nbc/ golf channel in the future."

"Unfortunately, my first room smelled strongly of cigarettes. However, the lovely ladies at the front desk were very kind and quickly accommodated me with a different room. The new room was quite clean, and the breakfast was good. One thing to note: the walls are fairly thin, so if your room is close to the lobby, you may hear quite a bit of noise. Overall, the staff’s excellent customer service made for a much better stay."
