"We stayed here to visit the Christmas markets in Gamla Stan and it was great! Very easy to get where we needed to go and lots of dining options nearby. It’s truly in the heart of the old town. The building is old, which is fine, but the upkeep was lacking. That’s not a complaint, just an observation because truly it didn’t affect our stay. It just wasn’t the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. The staff was fantastic. Helpful and kind. Getting there from the train was a bit tricky with our luggage....

"I had a wonderful stay at Freys Hotel last weekend. The property has a lovely, traditional feel while being situated in a modern part of town. The location couldn’t have been better — directly opposite Central Station and the Arlanda Express, with bars and restaurants close by but without any intrusive noise.
