The hotel itself is located in a convenient spot for exploring - Stockholm is very walkable, and T-Centralen is right around the corner if you want to hop on a train (or head to the airport). "Hotel C is a terrific hotel for access to the Arlanda Express. It is literally 10 steps away. It also is a close walk to Gamla Stan and there are a lot of great restaurants nearby. They have some fun games in the lobby, and the IceBar is hosted there as well. (They also have their own bar/restaurant which I did not go to.) The rooms are very basic.
