"Staff were very welcoming and helpful. It has been along time since i have ran into staff who are sincerely nice and upbeat naturally. From maintenance, cleaners and management. Not a one displayed trained welcoming and schooled niceness. "

"The rooms were new and fresh and clean and staff top notch. Beds comfy. Parking plentiful. Loved the welcome with cookies to welcome Michigan State University grads and families. All around great! And saved us when we had to cancel our three rooms for family at the Red Roof Inn in Lansing - dirty, cigarette smokers running desk, trailer of cats in the pothole parking lot, place in complete disrepair. Crowne Plaza IHG saved us and then some. Also had a great - but a tad pricey - buffet...

"We were forced to book another hotel --through expedia--upon arriving and seeing a trailer full of cats, the desk staff smoking, doors with destroyed paint, pothole ridden parking lot. The place is awful and we would have felt unsafe and exposed to smoke and cat fur (one of our family members has severe allergies). I didn't even go in. I left a voicemail canceling our stay. Regrettably I didn't say why. I will be disputing the charges. "

"The hotel is undergoing renovations and I think a change of ownership. The sign still says it’s a Clarion but it’s advertised as Lansing Delta West. The room was a bit shabby but clean, comfortable and spacious. I could hear guests on both sides through the walls and they were not being overly noisy. The grounds, sidewalks and common areas are currently in poor condition which I assume will be taken care of as renovations continue. There is a large indoor pool and patio area that looks like it...

"I did not get to check-in until 7pm even though check in was at 3 pm. The room was very dirty, refrigerator, sheets, hotel towels had Blood on them so did the couch and beds. I took pictures of everything. Worst hotel ever and they did not refund me my money. They told me a family lived there for 4 months until there house was built and they did the best they could. I am very upset."

"Avoid this hotel at all costs. The hotel looked like it was abandoned. The exterior was damaged and poorly maintained. The hallways smelled of marijuana and the drop ceiling in the hallway had holes. I thought we were on candid camera at first. It seriously looked like an abandoned hotel from a movie. I consider the money lost a donation to Expedia."

"Location was perfect right off highway, lots of food and stores around. Less that 10mins from the university. Room could use some dusting, faucet looked like it had some kind of water build up, just could be cleaner and more updated. Staff was friendly. One issue we had was that they made a copy of our credit card, had signature and id all our info. When asked why they needed, explanation didn’t really make sense so we asked for that copy back which after a bit of back and forth they gave to us....

"This place Does Not look like the photos advertised. I'm surprised it's even on this website. My wife and I booked a room for five days. When we pulled up to the property it looked abandoned. Main entrance was shut down. We entered on the side of the building. No parking on the property due to the broken down cars parked in the spots. The interior looks like time completely stopped in the late 80s. Everything is outdated. None of the amenities were available. The whole place reaked of cigarette...

"Not at all recommended. No value for money. Expedia is cheater."

"While the house is an architectural marvel, it is very dirty, sheets were stained, hallways were packed with boxes, and owner was living in the same immediate space."

"The property is above average and reasonably priced. Ideal for budget stays. The staff is always polite, friendly, and helpful. Will stay again."
