"Checking in, we met another guest trying to enter our room as they've been shuffled around (whole building booked). Our codes didnt work and had to communicate for a while to grab the right ones. We've booked the deluxe room, however we were given the economy; there was only a bed and a few chairs and a table, our room did not match the photos. "A bit hard to find, on a small back street near the Globe Theater. Spacious, modern room, quiet and peaceful place steps away from Borough Market, which is vibrant and heaving with people. Really enjoyed my stay, but 2 thing to be aware of: There is no phone in the room to contact the front desk, and no clock of any sort. Which I found strange. "Good customer service (I had to extend my stay but change rooms, the cleaning staff moved by baggage between rooms for free). Overall clean and well maintained. The only warning I have is that the heat build up is pretty bad in the rooms and there is no air conditioning, just windows that you can open and a fan provided. I would recommend it for the cooler months but avoid it come mid June through September."
