"When arriving our taxi driver dropped us off two blocks away as that was as close as he could get. We managed but with heavy cases it was difficult. I didn't choose the breakfast option as I personally feel 21 euro a person is too expensive. We went to different cafes and spent much less. I loved the location as we were able to walk everywhere. My only complaint was there was no mini fridge. That was my fault for not checking more carefully. As we travel with insulin it is very important for...

"The hotel ideally situated for the centre of Bordeaux, a few metres from the Quinconces. Transport connections first class, and an easy ride to the airport. The staff helpful, the room very comfortable, quite and cool, less of a problem when we stayed, but in July would have been an issue. Breakfast was good, and prepared us for the boat trip...! The Tourist office literally over the road. Normandie surpassed our expectations, and we will certainly return!"

"Excellent front desk staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed and pillows very comfortable. Nice size suite with lots of storage space. Breakfast was a very nice surprise, more than your standard continental. Best thing of all was the location. Right in the middle of the city centre; easy walking to loads of restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend this property."

"I first dated this hotel seven years ago in 2019, and I’ve come back again and it has fulfilled all expectations in my state was extremely satisfactory. The rooftop was still super fun with great views over the city especially during Sunset hour, not crazy busy very easy to just get a table for drinks. The room itself was a decent size at an acceptable rate, it was clean and it just needs some cosmetic improvements here and there but otherwise it was perfect for our three night stay"

"A wonderfully-quiet but charming and well-situated gem in central old Bordeaux. The room was small but beautiful and had everything you would need. Reception staff were friendly, welcoming and proactively helpful, allowing us to check in early when we asked to leave our bag.
The only downside I would mention is that the en suite toilet is of the 'wall-mounted' (rather than floor-mounted) variety and apart from being extremely unstable, creaked awfully when sitting on it, which made both of us...
