"The rooms were clean when we got there and smelled nice. They only clean every 3 days, though. The kitchen was cool, but it really needed some frying pans. They only had 3 pots. There were regular dishes, glasses, and silverware, but no big bowls. The elevator kept breaking down during our 6-day stay. Most of the staff didn't speak English, but they used their phones to help translate."

"Yes I stayed in your hotel on Friday may 15th in room 409. I was severely disappointed and consulted with front desk several times and even asked if there was anything that could be done compensation wise and was told they could comp one valet. I feel that this is not enough and would like a full refund. Here is why, the room never cooled to comfortable temperature, and the room smelled of marijuana all night! We hardly got any sleep. I am giving you the chance to make this right before I report this to a review on google and every other site I can leave a review on!!"

"The lobby was eye appealing and smelled very good. We were assigned to a room on the first floor that was not very clean and the bathroom floor was wet. We soon realized that it was due to a leaky shower. I reported this to the clerk at the front desk and her response was "oh they did tell me that room had that problem." She apologized and moved us to another room that was better and not set up for handicap. The television hardly had any channels so we had to watch Netflix on our tablet."

"Hotel ZaZa Houston was a great stay with a true luxury feel. The staff were amazing and made the experience feel very personalized from the moment I arrived, including a lovely glass of bubbly rosé at check-in. The hotel itself has a beautiful old Hollywood vibe, with stylish decor and a signature scent throughout that makes the whole place feel elegant and memorable. I really appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the morning coffee station on each floor and the afternoon cookies in the lobby. The complimentary car service within a 3-mile radius was incredibly convenient and made getting around feel easy and safe, especially as a solo female traveller. My only small drawback was that the air conditioning unit was quite loud when running. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would definitely return."
