Mixed Experience — Great Property, Poor Customer Service
Overall, the property itself was nice. I really liked the garage parking, and the room was clean, with comfortable beds and a great view. The location was also convenient and enjoyable.
However, my experience at check-in left a lot to be desired. I originally booked through Holiday Inn but was somehow charged by both Expedia and Staybridge, which I now have to dispute — and that’s frustrating. The woman who checked me in had very poor customer service. She rolled her eyes at almost everything and seemed visibly annoyed — not just with me, but with other guests as well. I witnessed her getting irritated with a guest who had a language barrier, another who asked about the food market, and even someone who called with a question while I was standing there.
She also seemed bothered when I asked for basic things like directions to the garage and elevators. It made the whole check-in process uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
While the room was generally clean, I did notice hair in the shower and on the towels, which was disappointing. That said, the rest of the room was nice, and the comfort level was solid.
I might consider giving this place another try in the future — mostly because of the amenities and location — but the customer service and billing issue definitely left a bad impression
