"The hotel is extremely beautiful and quiet. The location is privileged to watch the sunrise and sunset, in addition to being a few meters from the emerald cenote and having one of the sand benches where anyone can bathe, even people who do not know how to swim. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and very nice. Excellent selection of food and drinks served on the shore of the lagoon. Totally recommended for couples."

"All staff were helpful and attended to any concerns we had. The only minor inconvenience is the smell from the restroom that would come from the drains. I saw reviews at other hotels also have the same issue. But the water was amazing my family had a great time. There is only a mini fridge in the room which was enough for is to store snacks. Breakfast was good for convenience, but we mainly ate out to enjoy different cuisine."

"Where to begin… I have mixed feelings about Our Habitas. We stayed for seven days in a jungle room, which cost about $180 per night. Upon arrival, we were initially thrilled with our decision. The room was amazing, featuring a great outdoor shower, 24/7 air conditioning, and reliable power throughout our stay. They even surprised us with a traditional welcome pound cake on our very first night! Plus, the walk to the gorgeous lagoon was less than two minutes. Getting to the property does require a bit of navigating. The reception is located right by the highway entrance, and if you are coming in from Bacalar town, you cannot make a direct turn into the hotel because it sits on the opposite side of the road. Instead, you have to drive a few kilometers past it to make a U turn. Once you check in at the reception, the staff takes you down to the actual resort area in a golf cart. The road to the rooms is a narrow, one kilometer path cutting through the dense jungle. Because of this layout, you have to request a cart and wait to be driven back and forth between your room and the reception whenever you are heading out to meet a taxi or a shuttle. Unfortunately, we also encountered a few setbacks with connectivity once we arrived. Our only major complaint, which we heard from several other guests, was the Wi-Fi. It rarely worked in the rooms or the common areas like the bar and restaurant. Because the property is located so far out, cell signal is nearly nonexistent for foreigners."

"Our room was clean, the bedding was changed every 3 days, the property looks very nice. The food is pretty fancy, the chef knows what they are doing for sure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A couple of suggestions though: the room needs additional storage in the bathroom, there's absolutely nowhere to put your stuff. Also, if the hotel is advertised as luxury please provide hangers and skin lotion."

"Very nice and quiet hotel. If you want peace, this is the place with no TV but excelent WiFi Breakfast is included and it is more than complete and delicious. Very good experience for me and my family. All personnel is very kind and in the restaurant the service is awesome."
