"We were excited to stay at historic inn. But we weren't in the building pictured but another building a few blocks away. Breakfast was paper plates and pretty lame, compared to average chains like Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. The garbages were very full and it was disappointing. "

I could hear traffic and an undisciplined dog that barked frequently; I have learned as I travelto bring along a small fan, and I used that to sleep, and it was able to drown out the sounds. I slept perfectly. I was not expecting the high quality of food that is served. I had a very delicious dinner. "

"Beautiful Inn with views over the gorgeous grounds Staff are absolutely lovely and accommodating. Cozy Ostrich room for a drink before dinner. Fireplaces burning on the chilly morning and in the evenings. Location is close to the Town of Lenox and to many local activities and sites. I look forward to coming back! "
