"Excellent hotel a few minutes walk from the centre of Bowness on Windermere. All the staff we met were helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and well appointed. We used the Spa pool and sauna. The breakfast had everything you could possibly wish for."

They left the curtains open and no air conditioning so the room was an oven and the carpet was filthy. The window would only open one inch.
