"We had a very relaxing family holiday here. There were hardly any other guests when we stayed, and it was almost like having a private resort.The restaurant staff made us two lovely dinners and breakfasts, the first dinner was an intricate kaiseki spread, and the second was delicious grilled steak. Breakfast had plenty of options for both Japanese and Western style meals. The lounge area provided all the drinks and snacks and cup noodles we wanted, and we had a very nice walk around, and up into...

Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. "The room was magnificent! It was huge with great view of the mountains! Heater worked wonderful! It was freezing outside so a good heater was super good for the night! It was a Japanese style room, tatami floors and beds AND they had extra beds to make it more comfy! Would stay here again!!! "
