2/10 Terrible

"Pool not available and won't be for a long time if ever. Looks like a dumping area they don't plan to use. No batteries in the fire detector. Multiple dead roaches in room as soon as we entered. Smelled like cigarette smoke and had burns on the carpet and counter. Breakfast was bread or cereal with milk and coffee."

"The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were empty. They are the large pump bottles and attached in the shower. I contacted the front desk and was told that it would be taken care of. It was not. I am handicapped and was told that I would have to park in the garage. Most hotels advise the guest at check in that a hold will be placed for incidentals. This hotel placed the hold but I was never verbally told that a hold was being placed nor the amount. I have stayed at this property since it opened many years ago but after this stay I think that I will not return. It is still nice but the customer service has degraded quite a bit."

"The guy at the office wouldn't let me in because he said the door was broken, well there was two doors there and when I looked at the door while I was checking in it appeared fine and like I said there was two doors. I think he was afraid of me because I rode a motorcycle and had gear on. It was in the daylight hours, about three hours before dark. The wall paper was wrinkled and dirty on wall with the door,the door had about 1 and half inch crack from the floor to the bottom of the door on one side of it and safety chain was missing because it had been broken completely off the door. The rest on the room was clean and everything worked but overall it a sketchy place,the were guys outside on the top floor smoking pot and forget about the continental breakfast the doors on the lobby were locked when I left that morning about 8:30. The sign inside said breakfast served at 700 am but I just wanted change for the vending machine."

"We have stayed at this hotel for 3 years in a row and are consistently pleased from check in to check out with the staff and all amenities. Rooms are spotless and restocked daily, and breakfasts are AMAZING and the girls who run the cafeteria are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. we look forward to seeing them every year!. I recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to Huntington!"
