The hotel, pools, beach, and spa are all great! I had some excellent massages. The manicure and pedicure was not good. The therapist even cut my finger quite deep that it was bleeding. The bed is very comfortable and the A/C works really well in the rooms. the room is very big and very nice. Except the carpet, which was stained. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. WIFI is ok but not great. It wasn't possible to stream Video correctly.
I had some issues with the food unfortunately. I got severe stomach cramps after 3 seperate dinners in their restaurants (Matsu, Masala and the new years eve buffet) I only ate or drank at the hotel the whole week I was there. The food didn't taste bad so I guess it was some bacteria or something not clean.
This new areas Sahl Hasheesh is a bit empty still. It's being developed. So there aren't that many non-hotel guests around. It's a bit eery walking along the beach at night. Bit of ghost town.
You don't hear the construction from the hotel which is good.

RoomsThe rooms are big, the bed and pillows are very confortable. the bathroom with bath is nice also. the carpet was pretty stained.
Nearby activitiesthe beach is really beautiful and right in front of the hotel. there's a few artificial / farmed reefs you can snorkel just by the hotel.
SafetyI felt very safe there. I could leave my belongings on the beach chairs and go for a swim.
