"Beautiful view from the rooms on the hvalfjörður side, the dinning room and lounge area were outstanding. The staff were very helpful and attentive, we very much appreciated their attention to us as tired travelers on our first night in Iceland. The hotel manager was extremely approachable, friendly, he answered all of our questions, and gave us great information for the next few days of our adventure. "We booked a room specifically advertised as having a private bathroom and a bathtub. Upon arrival, we were informed that the photos on Expedia were “incorrect” and that only one room in the entire property actually had a tub — and it was already occupied. This was not a minor detail. The bathtub was the reason we selected and paid for this room type. We were offered “free breakfast” as compensation, which was confusing since breakfast is already advertised as complimentary in the lobby....

"Mountain view(some construction going on off to the side). Slight traffic and snow plows through the night on nearby road. The Dome inside was beautiful and peaceful with everything you need. Hot tub right outside. Robes and slippers supplied. Coffee and tea in the room with coffee maker and electric hot water kettle. Radio, multiple heaters and wood stove. Great WiFi. Board games. Heated towel rack and fully stocked bathroom in private bathroom inside the Dome. Food delivery available directly...

"Totalmente recomendable, el único problema es que está algo lejos del centro de Reykjavik, pero la mayoría de los Tours tienen pick up ahí o muy cerca. La falta de una recepción es algo inquietante aún, pero el personal estuvo en contacto frecuente a través de la mensajería de Expedia y sus instrucciones fueron muy claras y eficientes. El cable en la TV, no funcionó pero son smartTV así que pude usar YouTube y Netflix sin problema."
