"Booked a 3 night stay here, as looking for somewhere close to our visit to Port Lympne Safari Park. Friendly, welcoming staff on arrival, couldn't have been more helpful. Had a drink in the garden on arrival, nice little sun trap. Room was very spacious and clean, even had a fridge and microwave which we wasn't expecting. Fridge was a blessing in the hot weather to keep cold drinks in. Bathroom also spacoius and very clean and the shower was really good too. Welcome tray good little selection...

"We stayed here for one night. The pub is a proper old English pub. Nice garden to sit in even though it on the main road that runs through the village but it's not a problem as it seems very quiet. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Large selection of bear, larger and spirits. The food was reasonably priced and fresh. "The rooms have key code access meaning you do not need to worry about misplacing a key card. They have recently been renovated. The bathroom shower could do with being repositioned, as even at a petite height, I could not fit under the shower head. Otherwise, the room was clean and well placed for walks to the sea, local shops and the church. I would stay again."

"Great accommodation , very spacious , hot tub very good and was cleaned each day by a maintenance man who called. Was a bit worried about making too much noise for neighbours as we were a big family attending a wedding but neighbours did not appear disturbed. Only 3 toilet rolls for a 5 bedroom house , could have let them know as per their guidance but as it was only toilet paper just brought some and did not affect our good rating "

"The stay is brilliant - waking up with the lions roaring and even going throughout the night (which did scare our 2yo!) was amazing. we would definitely upgrade to a lodge where you get a golf buggy next time as the zoo is difficult to get round on foot as it’s so hilly.
