"The Ruby Emma Hotel room was large with a large walk in shower and clean and had a fridge but no coffee kettle or coffee maker.
The location was not good for me as you needed to take a tram into the main part of Amsterdam each day which took 15 min and the cost of a bus ticket each way.Lucky for me I just missed the transit strike when I arrived or that would have been a further problem for me.
Breakfast cost $ 24. euro with limited choices of hot food I only had it once in my four nights.

"The hotel itself is very presentable, both inside and out, with a nice location overlooking the river. There are some good amenities as well, including a 24/7 self-service convenience area, a well-maintained gym, laundry facilities on the 4th and 7th floors, and a decent restaurant on-site.
Unfortunately, that’s where most of the positives ended for us. Having to book housekeeping a day in advance was frustrating, and even when it was arranged, I found the service wasn’t quite up to par. Basic...

"Quiet location that was near the bus stop which made it easy to get around the city. Only a 15-20 minute ride from Central Station. The room was comfortable, the staff were extremely helpful. There is a small bar area where you can get a drink and something to eat. The buffet breakfast is worth it! Our only changes would be having washcloths available as well as coffee in the room."

"The hotel is in a great location and was definitely clean, stylish and lived up to the appearance you would expect from a five-star property. The beds were also incredibly comfortable and cosy, which made for a very good night’s sleep.
However, I felt the service could have been much warmer and more welcoming. On arrival, I had to carry and drag a heavy suitcase up a set of stairs myself before reaching the elevator. For this type of hotel, I would have expected a member of staff to offer...
