"The bougainvillea has a beautiful garden, 10 acres. Great when you are traveling with children. When my nephew and niece were little they really enjoyed playing in the gardens. Now in my 50's, there is nothing more relaxing then finding a secluded bench at the back of their garden and admire the beautiful garden they've preserved in the middle of bustling City. The restaurant staff are 5 stars, esp Ivan. The food is authentic to costa rica and delicious."

"My family and I loved our stay here. I mostly chose it because of the breakfast buffet and it was great. Beds are comfortable and the AC kept the room nice and cool during a humid season. Room safe needed fresh batteries. Gym was ok. Couldn't get the stationary bike to work properly because of dead batteries. Couldn't get the treadmill to work either. "Great location if you want to catch the “vibe” of San Jose. Plenty to see within walking distance. Family of 5 adults, and our suite was perfect for all of us. Staff was very friendly, especially to us English only speakers. The included sit down breakfast was delicious (4 options to choose from). If you have a car, the parking garage ramp under the hotel is east to miss and it’s right for a large SUV (manageable!). Highly recommend!"
