"Got upgraded to a suit, that was super nice , very India and vegetarian friendly breakfast buffet - has Jain food as well - dosa, sambar, dhokla, poha etc . The bathtub inside the room with a view was great. Loved the blue tooth speaker in the room as well to enjoy some music. Room was largely clean, guest services are a hit or a miss , sometimes on time sometimes delayed. Laundry takes a day, If given in the night they give it back next day same time. Reception also helps with dollar exchange...

"The staff were excellent and super helpful/attentive. They help carry your stuff to your room when you first get in, and will always ensure that you have everything you need during your stay. The room was generally clean, but because of the humidity, it can sometimes smell damp if the AC hasn’t been on for a while. Also, beware in my room and my friend’s room, there was some mould on the shower grout (it’s all tiled). Additionally, (mine was fine) but my friend’s mini fridge in her room was not...

"We had the executive room on the 15th floor. Fabulous views , especially at night. Fantastic spatious rooms. No complaints. except that the wifi did stop working twice, and had to be reset by the staff. ( without this it would have been the highest score )
When we were there, there was also a summit of armee/government officials of several countries. That resulted in a very safe environment, sometimes there were already 4 security guards on our floor.
We enjoyed it and when we visit Colombo...

"This is a 4 star facility at best, 3.5 star is a firm rating. Good location in Colombo, helpful staff. hallway carpet needs to be cleaned, along with the bathroom shower and floor areas that was dirty with mold. Food availability was good, tried the breakfast buffet and it was acceptable. I don't think this facility sells alcohol beverages however, did not see a bar or alcohol listed in the menu. Linen and toiletries were good as well."
