"Really great location. Only a 10 minute walk into the town and to the coast. Lots of close bus stops and close to the BSI bus terminal too (About a 30 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride) Good sized room with TV and cooking facilities including a microwave, 2 ring hob, kettle and nespresso coffee machine. The walls are very thin so any noise in the corridors is very loud. Little to no traffic noise from outside. Really good for the price, would definitely stay again!"

"We were thrilled with our 2 bedroom apartment. The views of the fjord were incredible, the apartment was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was fabulous! Check in and out were seamless. Highly recommend and will stay here again if we are ever in Akureyi again! "

" Pros: Great location, convenient to restaurants, bars, stores and attractions. awesome view of the ocean. very spacious and comfortable. support team was very responsive and answered all questions promptly via email Cons: It was more of an apartment than a hotel room which I didn't realize. Because of that there was no reception or housekeeping, minor inconvenience. "

"PROs: Spacious, comfortable, clean room. Lots of clean bathrooms. Kitchen with all facilities. Spacious dining area. Abandoned town yet beautiful. Close to the ocean hence walkable. The adjacent restaurant serves delicious food and plays great music. CONs: Located in an abandoned town due to an active volcano. Town smells like lava which is tolerable though. Becomes really quiet and lonesome at night which could appear scary and eerie to tourists. About a 25 minutes taxi ride from KEF airport."

"We booked 2 different units (kids vs. adults) and everyone had an amazing time. Sadly it didn't have laundry which would have been nice half-way through our trip but nor did they say it did so it's not a complaint, just a comment. Overall a great experience and you'll be impressed with the host, felt like they would do anything to make us happy and comfortable !"
