"I normally don’t write reviews, but I honestly feel like I got duped by the high ratings. I wasn’t expecting a five-star resort because I knew this was an older hotel, but I did expect it to be clean and reasonably well maintained. Unfortunately, the hotel felt very dark and gloomy. There’s an indoor pool right in the lobby next to the breakfast area, so the entire entrance smells of chlorine. The fireplace wasn’t even working, which added to the uninviting atmosphere. "They changed the room I ordered and had to put my party in separate rooms. It happened to one other customer in front of me and has to settle for a king bed with 3 people. The establishment is old and need of serious updates. The air conditioner would t cool below 75. The continental breakfast was terrible and few choices. The staff was friendly, but it hardly made up for all the negatives. Will not stay again. And will warn others not to as well."

"Hands down the best experience with hotel staff I’ve ever experienced. These folks seem to love their job and the people they work with. The friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. It was a great stay because of the staff alone but then add a clean, comfy room and great breakfast. It was 10/10. Management is doing great."

"Front desk staff Alena was super helpful! The staff cooking the omelettes and the staff managing breakfast were wonderful. Roomkeepers were efficient. The biggest issues were baby squeals echoing from the center gathering space until late and late night door slams from neighbors, and that is a design issue. The staff was fantastic."

"I asked before check in if the pool was open. They said yes. I specifically booked it because it had a pool. I walked up to the pool, it was out of order. I asked for the manager to co tact me during the stay. She never did. Conditioner bottle was empty during the stay. Big issue when you are already in the shower. Breakfast area was not clean or well kept during breakfast times. Pretty messy."

"We were unable to access our room with our keys, and after four trips up and down to the lobby, the front desk finally sent someone upstairs to help. They were also unable to access the room. When we finally got in, our bathroom was brand new, but installed in a way that wouldn’t even close. The front desk did help us move to another room at that point. We made it to the pool, and discovered the hot tub was drained. They offered for us to use the neighboring hotel’s pool and hot tub, but their’s...
