"Having only stayed here for a brief period, arriving after midnight and departing in the morning, I must say the entire experience was truly delightful. The hotel, though rated as a three-star establishment, boasted a reception staff that provided a five-star level of service. The property itself was well-maintained, and the room was exceptionally spacious with lovely views. Furthermore, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was quite tasty."

"It seemed to have all that we needed, apart from a draining board, and was in a very good location. However we were surprised to find on returning to the flat on two nights that someone had taken up residence in the doorway.. He was very polite about it and caused no trouble. "

Excellent Breakfast varieties, good affordable restaurant for lunch time. Great dinner buffet options. Great location and lot to explore by walking around the Hotel, if you are looking to stay away from Funchal main city centre this is the one. "What a lovely location although there are multiple suites and rooms, from the majority of vistas they are all nestled within the land and discrete. There were issues with the room but we were kindly offered alternatives. Breakfast was included and you couldn't eat enough. The grounds were impressively level given the graduated levels of Maderia's landscape."
