Khách sạn Il-Mensija , San Gwann

"Nice updated and clean hotel. Beds are a little firm and you need to bring a top sheet as in Europe they don't use top sheets just duvet and bottom sheet. Concierge staff were amazing helping us with whatever we need. Stayed for 2 weeks so took advantage of the breakfast buffet. They had a good variety of foods to choose from. If ordering lunch or supper was a bit pricey so we ate mostly at restaurants around the hotel. Lots to choose from as this hotel is in a nice location 25 minutes...

"Wow! Great stay! Excellent staff, comfy and well appointed rooms."

"The service charge for the breakfast was worth it!"

"Nice room with balcony but the view is 0. All we could see were buildings and construction sites. Our friends were on the other side and couldn’t even open the window. The hotel itself is great but on a very busy street. Even with the windows closed we could still hear the noise from the outside, but I guess what should I expect from St Julian? Staff is very helpful, nice breakfast and the indoor pool and sauna is ideal for a cooler evening. Rooftop pool is okay but you’re not allowed with...

"Room was clean, breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Swimming pool was great with very attentive staff There was a constant damp/sewer smell in the main lobby and also in our room. Shower head was spraying water in all directions and when the shower was on the bathroom smelt of the same damp/ sewerage smell. Asked booking in receptionist if we could be booked in near the party we were travelling with and were given a room at the opposite end of the hotel without even telling us there...

"Alles war in Ordnung"

"The room was clean and well serviced by the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was good, both food quality and choice on the buffet."

"First the property was like the walls were made of paper. I did not realize there would be very loud party music playing until 4:00 am every day. The first two nights of our stay it was impossible to sleep. The third night we changed rooms and it was much quieter. The second issue was the pool. We booked based on the lovely pool in the picture, but when we tried to use it, were told that we needed a pool card, when we enquired about it there was a $20.00 euro a day fee for the use. I would...

"The public areas of the hotel were clean and tidy but unfortunately the rooms are tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. The noise from the air conditioning was appalling. A block of rooms on the lower floor were plagued by a droning noise from air conditioning machinery servicing the whole hotel. Even with the air conditioning off in your room the droning was unbearable, preventing sleep at night. I was moved to a different room but only 4 rooms away and whilst it was slightly better...
