"The place is good for the price. It felt clean, and the shower and toilet worked fine. The beds were quite hard and duvet only a blanket, but all in good condition. Although it’s only a 4 minute walk from Pelourinho, we were told by locals and police that we had to take Uber home as soon as it got dark! In other words, the area is not safe at night. "

"Well located, but tired premises. Somewhere between a hostel & a hotel. The room we stayed in was very tired & very steep stairs (60 ) with no lift. Excellent location 5 minutes from the square"
"Hotel not for tourists. signs warn "no one under the age of 18 permitted on premisis." Rooms are windowless, beds/sheets old. TV has only porn and crime news. Neighborhood deserted at night."
