"Reserved an executive level room, but couldn't use the executive lounge (even though it was included with the room). The key never worked to open the executive lounge door. Front staff was not helpful."

"Loved this one night stay during a layover on flights back to Toronto. Granted the room is small, but it's very interesting and functional. Loved the process and attention to detail for checkin and out. Loved the shower, easy to figure out controls and the best rain shower head. Loved the bed, particularly the full bed-sized duvet (usually in Europe you get two duvets for a double or queen. Will look out for Citizen M hotels for future stays."

"Very clean and affordable hotel, especially for a short layover. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but I did have one disappointing experience upon arrival. After a flight from Toronto, I arrived at the hotel around 1:45 p.m. feeling exhausted and hoping to rest for a bit before exploring the city. I was the only guest at the front desk and asked whether an early check-in might be possible. The staff member checked my reservation and advised that early check-in was not available for my booking...

"If you miss the free shuttle it’s €23 for a taxi. The check in is quick and no fuss. The room was tiny but ok for the short time we were there. The shuttle bus back to airport was very good."

"They were so accommodating, we got in early morning from an overnight flight and they were able to give us our room well before check in time - so incredible for weary travelers!! The breakfast was delicious and had a huge variety. We loved our four day stay and would not hesitate to book again!!"

"Hotel is basic..Has a comfy and good bed and bathroom everything else you have to pick up from front desk.like tooth brush and tooth paste,iron - location isn't the best Many uber drivers cant find it..going in circles...staff was helpful Andre and Maria and Tina were super and I forgot to ask the other agents name she was nice.. "Room was large and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the air conditioning in the room would not go low enough to keep things cool on the extremely hot days we experienced. I also was surprised with having to pay 5 euro for a bottle of filtered water for the room on those hot days. Otherwise our visit was pleasant."

"My personnel at the bar was pretty rude when we still had 10 minutes to get a drink and they wouldn’t make a cocktail for us. If the bar is technically open until a certain time, everything should be available until that time and then they should clean up. Afterwards, they kicked us out and we had to have our drink not the cocktail that we wanted in the lobby."
