I enjoyed our stay here, although servicing of room could’ve been better. We stayed four nights and finally requested that it be clean after 3rd night. Breakfast was not very fresh and no variety. However, the river side updated room was very quiet and scenic. We saw auroras on 3rd night from the balcony, even better a short walk away!

An amazing place to stay

The hotel condition is farliy basic , however this is more than compensated by the excellent food which was not overpriced and was amazing plus all the staff were very freindly - will definatley go back to if i get a chance to do so

I recommend requesting a room in the new building,not the building across the street, next to the supermarket. We were able to change our room to the new building which is wonderful.

My sister and I had a very nice stay at hotel Kultahippu. Very good dinner at the restaurant, clean and comfortabel hotelroom with necessary facilities. The mattress wasn´t for my back. That is my only complaint, based on individually discomfort.

The suite is amazing. It spacious and the sauna in the room was nice to have for privacy. The room had a small back patio you could go outside and just watch the view as well. The food was also delicious.

We stayed here overnight before a flight home. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, restaurant and bar were fabulous! Very walkable to shops and other restaurants. Only not great thing was we had to pull/carry our luggage in the snow across two streets to our building. In case this might be an issue for you just be aware when booking.

Wonderful experience!

We really enjoyed this hotel- highly recommend getting a room with your own sauna!! It was lovely to spend time outside in the cold and come back to a warm sauna experience. Room was spacious, great balcony and very comfortable! The staff was always helpful and friendly and the restaurant onsite was really good and convenient for sure! The hotel also had tours available (our guide Sonya was great!) and that was super convenient as well.

The receptionist was extremely helpful and kind. The room was specious, comfortable and had its own sauna which unfortunately didn't work. The receptionist arranged a refund immediately for the extra we paid for it. We ate at the hotel restaurant, the food was excellent and reasonably priced.
