"The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The Nespresso machine and coffee that were located in the lobby were excellent. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at the Old Spence cafe. The tram was not working due to some street closures but the public bus system was easy to figure out and the main stop was not too far away."

"Good sized room with opening windows. I didn’t anticipate a shared bathroom when I booked. Rubbish bin full, no soap in hand basin dispenser and shower needing a good clean before I could use it. Bedroom clean sheets but stains on the walls. Not very inviting. Great to have parking but grounds need attention. The property was in the next suburb Rosyth not Dunfermline as advertised in Expedia. The Dunfermline property was permanently closed. 3 night stay with no fresh towels or coffee etc. top...

"Beautiful place, lots of history, conveniently by the tram. The staff was so accommodating and kind. The room was amazing with lots of extra surprises.. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need, we were very impressed!"

I was disappointed to discover that the bathroom and shower were shared, as this was not sufficiently clear to me before I booked. If I had realised this in advance, I would have chosen different accommodation. The lack of clarity significantly affected my stay and left me feeling misled.
