"We chose this location due to the proximity to Yosemite. We prefer to stay in the park, but everything was already full when we looked into reservations. This was a great alternate. It was only about 15 minutes from the Western entrance and was easy to find. It was right across from the river with private acess, which we did not use, but did go visit one night. "This was a fun good place to stay. We really enjoyed it. It had a convenient bus stop that was a ten minute walk and we were able to hop on a bus to Yosemite. The place had many options from a tent to a beautifully decorated room with a bathroom. So you can determine how much you want to rough it. I would stay again in a heartbeat."

"Our room was right next to the roaring Merced River. It was so peaceful to fall asleep to that sound. The room was comfortable but somewhat worn. There was resort construction going on, so some amenities were closed. The room and restaurant prices were high, but that’s to be expected for a location so close to Yosemite."

"The lodge was very nice. The room was clean and large with a nice patio. Very roomy. Bed was comfortable. Food was ok. Didn’t take advantage of the spa or pool. Make a reservation for dinner if you plan to eat there. Nothing else is close by. Wish that they had two separate menus for the dining room and tavern. The tavern was more lively and a better atmosphere. Would stay here again. The have sandwiched and salads to go in the general store."

"Somewhat rundown location. Weeds all over property. Pool seemed clean but was small. We never went in it. Sheets and towels were old and the sheets where scratchy on my skin. This place was Motel 6 status but with a much higher price tag. And actually the last time I stayed at a Motel 6 it had better sheets and towels than this place. The handle broke off the sink in the bathroom and the TV was mounted in a weird way so it was hard to see. The mount did not move or rotate so we could not pull...

"Owner was very helpful in understanding the check in procedure. The pool was very old, but clean and convenient. The owner allowed us to change parking to accommodate a larger car. She was very helpful."
