"Can't say enough good things about Alux! My friend and I visited Placencia for our Birthdays and were originally booked at other accomadations. We left the other place after one night and found Alux. What a gem! It is in the heart of the village. Everything is walkable, with lots of options for food, shopping and fun. The room as lovely, clean, cool and spacious. It was so well appointed too! Coffee and filters, small appliances, spacous modern kitchen, thick bath towels, toiletries and...

"We loved our stay in the Turtle room! We had a last minute change in our itinerary and needed a place for only one night... But we wished we had more time at this spot! The owners are very kind and responsive. The room was very comfy and cozy. I appreciated all the shelving in the rooms and bathroom. AC worked great. And the screened in porch was really wonderful to hang out on. It's also in a great location for wandering around the village. "

"Perfect location, their is a supermarket just next door. The saff is very helpfull and friendly. The only thing I would add is a place to unpack your clothes. The property has no storing nor hangers for your clothes. In the bathroom there are no towel hooks which could be nice to have. The toiletries could have more comfortable dispensers and not just small wooden cups"

"Had lots of little bugs in our villa. Could use a few more railings as floors get slippery when wet. Food was excellent. Beach was beautiful but found a few glass and plastic bottle pieces in sand, Not good for bare feet. 2 lovely and clean pools for non sea swimmers. Would recommend this resort."
