"We arrived after 5 pm on our arrival date and the room wasn't ready. We stood in the hallway for approximately a half hour while they got the room ready and it seemed like a rush job."

"Brought home fleas from the hotel. Never had flies in my life, cut our stay early and left because my husband was getting bitten. Have been trying to call and talk to the manager but now they wont call me back."

"Fantastic hotel and staff! They pay attention to the small details- for example, toothbrush holder in the bathroom, nice! Rooms are big, clean, nicely furnished. Beds are very comfortable. They have a wonderful included buffet breakfast at the restaurant attached to hotel called Lupo. Buffet but very fresh - they also make omelets - coffee is delicious! They have a nice shuttle to the beach - very helpful. Will definitely stay again."

"Pros: Cute hotel. Close to the beach/boardwalk. Very convenient. Staff were friendly. Cons: walls are paper thin, ants everywhere in the rooms. Even if you keep everything sealed and cleaned. Pool was a little dirty as well."

"The Hyatt Place in Dewey Beach was very nice and clean at all times. The breakfast that was included was delicious. I would recommend the hotel to anyone"

"We love staying at the Avenue! It’s our 4th year and plan on returning. It’s super clean and we love the onsite pool! We love how it’s close to everything. We were super sad that the golf cart ride to the beach was gone. We loved riding with Lew and it was sooooo helpful with my mom and her walker in the past summers. Please try to bring it back. Only complaint was the pull out couch was super uncomfortable, even my 4 and 6 year olds complained."

"We loved our stay! The location is fantastic you can easily walk to most of the local shops, restaurants, so there’s really no need for a car for everything. The property was so cute and cozy. The staff had great customer service, which is something you don’t find very often anymore. They were also very accommodating of my service dog. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Property is very dated. Pillows are completely flat. Shower and sink handle turned completely in a circle making it hard to turn water off. Drawers were broken and missing from the dresser. Our room smelled like an ashtray. Assuming the people who live in the room beside smoke inside. The room beside also played loud music all hours of night and morning making it hard to sleep. They also had a barking dog. We paid for a poolside room and were placed in the back of the building. The smoke...

"Atlantic Oceanside Dewey INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING staff is friendly enough, but they will NOT! answer any questions whatsoever. About Multiple hidden fees which go unexplained.(when I asked for an itemized bill, they could not furnish that for some reason they weren’t allowed to use the printer.?) Dirty rooms with no view ,Dirty pool , and filthy restaurant. I would not reccomend ."

"The location was perfect but the property needs lots of attention. The air conditioner unit in the room was loud, making sleep difficult. I didn't interact with any staff other than the front desk during check in and check out. There was someone always at the front desk requesting towels and there were never any available. I heard at least 3 times that they should go to the room and call for room service."

"Keep in mind that, in addition to the daily rate, you’ll have to pay U$15 per day for parking. If you stay many days, you have to let them know if you want your room cleaned; otherwise, they won’t do it, and you’ll end up without clean towels. I’d like to highlight the work of the gentleman who serves breakfast—he quickly prepares the waffles and brings them to the table. The breakfast is pretty good.""
