"Fantastic location right on the beach and a short distance to main shopping of surfers plus the tram/light rail and excellent walking path. Fantastic facilities with 2 pools and spa and sauna Room was great and bed very comfy Staff very nice and allowed early check in which was great Highly recommend and best place we have stayed"

"Be nice to have the bare minimum of cooking stuff. Having to buy a container of salt for example. So easy to do and so cheap. Just a thought. All the 'residents' were just so helpful and kind!"

"The room was fab with a great view and the amenities that I needed . I was aware that the indoor pool was out of action but not to the extent that the works were . When I arrived I got to an area fenced for works , so had no idea how to get into the hotel . Luckily a kind resident helped me . Also the outdoor pool was out of action for 2 days which wasn’t brilliant . I understand works happen but a better brief g would have been nice , I would have perhaps booked somewhere else . "Although the owner was LOVELY. And extremely accommodating and helpful. The first room we stayed in was riddled with cockroaches (4th floor) We told the owner and he was more then happy to move us to a new room which was fine and we only seen 1 cockroach the whole week. "Room is spacious but the room we were in feels dated. There is a horrible smell in the carpark when we were there - it smells like sewage or uncollected rubbish. The amenities and the room are okay for the price that we paid. It’s close to the touristy parts but would be a distance to reach on foot. It’s a comfortable short distance by car but not on foot."
