"Well we were only there for one night, and really only half a night. The staff was helpful, pleasant, and offered all the tips and tricks for our very short stay. The property was quiet and nice! We regretted not staying there for longer at the beginning of our trip. The suite we stayed in would have been perfect for a small family staying in Zagreb for several days. "Wow!! I was not expecting this level of thought and attention to detail but this place is a textbook example of what a short stay apartment should be! It was large, clean, well furnished, and thought given to every need of its guests. Ivana was extremely personable and helpful...so easy to communicate with and so quick to respond. The kitchen was well equipped and perfect for making meals...even had a toaster (which seems to be a bit of a rarity in the Balkans). The bathroom was large and...

"Hotel Republika was a terrific option for my family. It is rare in a city to have a boutique hotel experience, complete with parking, that remains a short walk to the main attractions of the area. The space was large and well designed, and even had two bathrooms for a two-bedroom unit. Perfect combination of quiet/peaceful space to use as a home base, but close enough to walk to the heart of the city."

"Big studio apartment in the heart of Zagreb. The room we stayed in was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were a lot of cupboards and drawers for our things. We also appreciated the air conditioning and kitchenette. The check in desk is at the Main Square Hostel which is not mentioned anywhere and would have made it a lot easier to find! Hostel staff were helpful, friendly, and responded quickly to my messages when we needed helping finding them. "

"Nice spacious room in excellent location. It is upstairs. The double windows block out most of the street noise but there were a lot of car enthusiasts driving by between midnight at 4am on the Friday and Saturday night we were there."
