"The staff were excellent. There were warm cookies available upon our arrival. They have a shuttle that took us to Mendenhall glacier. They also will take you downtown or to the airport. The property is older but very well maintained the room and the property was very clean. We were only there one night so he didn’t have the opportunity to have the breakfast or use the laundry."

"At the White House was perfect for my brief stay in Skagway. It's within walking distance to "downtown" and all of the sights/restaurants/etc. Staff was wonderful and easy to work with. The room is quiet, clean, and comfortable. Although the building itself is old, all of the fixtures (electrical, plumbing, etc.) is updated. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel may have rebranded to the Southeast Resort, but it is an old hotel. The refrigerator shell was broken. The room just looked tired. The elevator was extremely slow. The bathtub wasn't really clean and there was someone else's long hair clinging to the shower curtain, yuck. On the positive side the bed was quite comfortable, and the hotel location is right by downtown and close to tourist areas."
